Dr. Genita N. Hyacinthe is a Medical Laboratory and Global Health Scientist. She holds a Doctorate in Health Sciences from A.T. Still University, a Master’s in Medical Laboratory Sciences from Florida International University, and a Bachelor’s in Medical Technology from the University of South Florida.
Genita has extensive experience in hospital laboratories, where she has implemented quality management systems and ensured compliance with CLIA and other regulatory standards. She has successfully led laboratories through CAP inspections and has served as a CAP inspector herself.

- Led system-wide quality initiatives that standardized laboratory operations.
- Advised laboratories on workflow optimization and process improvements.
Dr. ROMY A. ERASE, DHSc, MPH, MT(AAB), CLC(AMT)
President/Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Romy A. Erase is a highly experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist and Consultant with over 20 years in laboratory sciences. She holds a Doctorate in Health Sciences, a Master’s in Public Health, and a Bachelor’s in Health Sciences.
Romy has directed Biosafety Level III laboratories as Manager, Responsible Official, and Principal Investigator under CDC regulations. She spent a decade in a reference laboratory, implementing quality assurance programs and system settings for molecular microbiology labs.
- Managed and led operations in CDC-regulated Biosafety Level III laboratories.
- Implemented extensive quality assurance programs and systems in reference labs.
- Coordinated nationwide bio-surveillance teams for monitoring biothreat agents.

Jim Jackson has been in the laboratory industry for over 50 years. He received a Master of Science in Business Administration from the University of Miami, a Bachelor of Science in Bioscience from Rutgers University. Jim has held positions as Phlebotomist, Laboratory Technologist, Supervisor, Manager, Director, and most recently as Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President, and General Manager at American Health Associates (AHA). Jim has joined AHA in 2002 growing a one-location laboratory to a multi-location $100 million revenue laboratory.
Jim is the medical laboratory advisor for Quality Laboratory Consulting Services (QLS).
